Nestled in the heart of New Smyrna Beach, the NSB Tennis Center is a vibrant hub for players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re new to the game, a seasoned competitor, or simply looking to stay active and connected, you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere and world-class amenities waiting for you here.
We offer something for everyone—from daily open play and high-energy cardio drills to structured leagues, private and group instruction, and junior programs. Our schedule includes Bill’s Drills with one of our owners, cardio tennis with our Pro, men’s and women’s doubles, singles play, and our competitive 55+ GVTL (Greater Volusia Tennis League) teams, as well as competitive USTA Tournaments.
Our on-site Tennis Pro, Milena Volkova, brings over 35 years of international coaching experience and offers private and group lessons tailored to your goals. Juniors are also in great hands with summer camps and year-round group classes designed to develop skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Beyond the court, we host social events, tennis outings, and seasonal programming that keep our community active, connected, and engaged.

Meet Our Tennis Professional

Milena Volkova is a seasoned tennis professional with over 25 years of coaching experience at prestigious clubs and academies worldwide. Originally from Ukraine, Milena was ranked in the top 10 nationally in the 14 and 16 & under divisions. She holds a B.S. in Sports Medicine, Sports & Physical Education from NI Moscow (1988) and has been a vital contributor to elite-level tennis, including involvement with the Russian Davis Cup and Federation Cup science teams.
Milena became a certified member of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) in 1992 and was honored with the Coach of the Year award in 2009. Her coaching journey has taken her across the globe, with past positions at:

• Adler Tennis Academy (Sochi, Russia)
• Sombrero Country Club (Marathon, FL)
• Middlesex Country Club (Darien, CT)
• Millbrook Golf & Tennis Country Club (Millbrook, NY)
• New Smyrna Beach Tennis Center (New Smyrna Beach, FL)

Milena is passionate about developing players of all levels and offers private and group lessons for both juniors and adults. Known for her deep expertise, personalized coaching, and dedication to excellence, she continues to make a lasting impact on the tennis community.

I have played competitive sports since I was 4 years old. In 2020, I moved to the New Smyrna Beach area in search of continuing my competitive journey. Unfortunately, baseball or softball was not available to me, so I chose to learn the game of tennis. I visited the New Smyrna Beach Tennis Center and found it to be extremely welcoming and engaging. I immediately got the fever for tennis and have been an active member since. Its country charm and amazing members have made me a member for life. Our club is small but mighty. I have played at several other clubs as well, but hands down, I would not want to be a member anywhere else. NSB Tennis Center is family. No other club exudes that sense of belonging.
